Oh man! What can I say about this? I think my wife said it best in her opening line of her wedding vows.
“Look what God did.”

“Look what God did…” What an amazing thing He did. He did amazing things in our lives individually in drawing us both to Himself, and then He blesses us both with the gift of each other. The Father truly gives good gifts to His children! …I mean GOOD gifts! (: It’s crazy to think how God had planned for Ivy to be my wife. …29 years, much spent grumbling, complaining, and confused about why He was withholding this good thing from me. I’m still not 100% sure what the point of the waiting period was, but it seems so insignificant now. …crazy how that works, huh? I think what I’ve been reminded of is that His ways are far above my ways. His thoughts are far above mine! (Something to hold onto next time I’m wondering about what the Lord is doing in my life.) Man, what a blessing that He has given to me!
So, the Bible says that “a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” …how fitting, especially for a worship leader to have such a woman for a wife! I essentially have the job of singing over my wife for the rest of my life! I’m so blessed by that responsibility and I’ll definitely post some of the songs in the upcoming years… (:
